Distance Training with E-learning

Training is essential today. It plays a central role in the human resources management of companies. But the digital revolution now makes it easier to train at a distance.

Training, a pillar of business success

Today we live in a complex world, where everything goes very fast. Technical, technological, legal and other developments require companies to adapt regularly to preserve their competitive advantage.

Leaders must ensure the training of their employees so that they regularly improve their skills and hence their effectiveness.

The e-learning revolution

Ten years ago, access to training was much less easy than it is today. Learning a software like Excel required several days of training. Accommodation, travel and food costs were prohibitively expensive. Not to mention the total absence of the employee during this period.

The new information and communication technologies are now able to train employees at all levels.

Many advantages

E-learning encourages a strong involvement of the participant in his/her training. Indeed, he is an actor and can learn at his own pace, without having to follow the other participants. The contents of the courses are both attractive and educational. For example, tutorials for using computer software are simple and clear. They are mostly interactive, thanks to drag-and-drop games, training exercises, test quizzes, etc. All this creates a relationship of trust between participant and trainer. E-learning also makes it easier to measure the results of training by reporting and analyzing progress.

E-learning is above all a great flexibility for both the company and its employees. For example: training one employee on software, another on the impact of a new law of the company's market and activity...

Employees can choose their training dates based on availability. And also study at any time and any place: a computer or a tablet, an internet connection, and go!

Of course, e-learning is not necessarily the best tool for everyone. For example, the participant must be able to correctly use a computer, be autonomous and self-disciplined, able to concentrate, and thus assimilate the new acquired knowledge.
