.Net Specialty

The job of .Net Developer, .Net expert or .Net consultant appeared with the emergence of e-commerce in the 2000s. .Net platform was introduced by Bill Gates with the desire to change the Microsoft products to an ASP (application service provider) model to promote a new programming language : C# (pronounced "Ci sharp").


The .Net expert is in great demand because his skills allow to deploy quickly and economically infrastructure as well as certify Microsoft products. Many consulting firms and companies also try to employ young graduates who are not necessarily .Net experts but to evolve them in that area.

The objective of the .Net developer is to design applications in .Net. He must analyze the needs of the upstream project for the client, and make new applications taking into account the functional and technical specifications of the project.


The .Net Developer usually has a background in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, ASP, ASP.NET. With knowledge of network system, he must also have a working knowledge of English. Rigorous, independent, passionate and having team spirit, the .Net consultant may need to move towards more different positions (network architect for example).
