Human Resources

The management of human resources is not an economic sector but a cross function which all businesses need. Manage social relationships, enhance careers, recruit good profiles are all key factors for the success of a company, and that requires strong professional and human skills.

Reconcile economic needs with the social realities of the business: Here's central- and delicate - mission of professionals in charge of human resources. In everyday life, their tasks are many: manage contracts and pay slips, recruit new staff (but also possibly dismiss) develop careers, develop individual and collective skills, manage social relationships and potential conflicts, define an efficient managerial and social policy... This versatility is highly sought after in the corporate world where labor input is an essential component of economic activity.

There are two main opportunities for professionals of human resource. Two thirds of them work in companies or governments, they manage the responsability of human resources or they are integrated to a team if the company is large. In a company, HR services are on average 3.6% of payroll. The last third is directed to independent firms, which are occasionally or more permanently solicited by companies for recruitment missions, training or counseling activities.
